About Alpha Sales & Services
We manufacture water treatment chemicals and supply chemicals and enzymes for industrial utilities, sugar mills and distilleries. We supply customers across India and have also exported our products. Export enquiries are welcome.
Founded by Dr. S. M. Chavan
Dr. S. M. Chavan holds a PhD and established Alpha in 2009. Before founding Alpha, he worked as a scientist at Vasantdada Sugar Institute (VSI) and later advised Thermax Ltd. on its sugar business and its dealer network across India.
His research has covered the use of amylase and dextranase to remove starch and dextran during sugar manufacturing.
Our manufacturing plant
We manufacture water treatment chemicals in our own plant and check product quality for consistency. We also supply the Sudarshan Chemical Industries range of ETP cultures, enzymes and polyelectrolytes as authorised dealers.
Our product range covers boiler and cooling water treatment, RO chemicals, fireside additives, raw-water and effluent treatment, sugar process chemicals and distillery enzymes.
Technical support
Tell us which system needs treatment, how it operates and what you want to improve. We use the application details and water or process reports to recommend products, dosing and treatment costs.
We do not stop at the supply. Dr. S. M. Chavan guides your operators on dosing and water testing, reviews your analysis results and adjusts the treatment at your site until the results hold. Safety data sheets, technical data sheets and our GST details are available for technical review and vendor registration.
